The project comprises the replacement of an existing UPVC conservatory on the western elevation of a detached property beside the river Teifi.
The new extension will provide enhanced living space with greater thermal comfort and connectivity to the garden. Framed views of the river complement larger openings onto external terracing. The roof extends to form a canopy allowing the family to experience the outdoors in all weather. A vaulted ceiling culminates in a large rooflight, maintaining high levels of natural daylight deep into the plan.
The extension is to be brick and render with a standing seam roof and oxide red windows and guttering, as a hint to the vernacular metal roofs of the surrounding countryside.
